We welcome you to our self-sustaining farm that we are delighted to call our home. Our mission is to share with you the wonderful nature and lifestyle that we have been given. Settled between eucalyptus and pine plantations, and surrounded by streams and valleys, our piece of land is a peaceful get-away. In 1990 we began building our farm from scratch, brick by brick, and over time it has developed into a completely off-grid farmstead. The buildings run on solar energy and gas, and are supplied by fresh fountain water straight from the source. Like most traditional farms, we embrace a ‘garden-to-table’ and ‘homemade’ way of life by using our farm produce whenever possible. Our primary farming activity is cattle and sheep farming, but we also cultivate crops, raise chickens for fresh eggs, and keep pigs that take care of our leftovers. Our vegetable garden is fed with our natural compost, and we enjoy the wholesome produce it yields. Whether you want to rest and relax, or are simply looking for some quality family time, our idyllic setting is perfect for you. Come and experience a taste of simple living firsthand!
Overlooking the gardens, pastures and eucalyptus plantations, Gloria is the newest addition to the farm. It has four elegantly designed rooms, all with private bathrooms. There is a social shared kitchen, a lounge with a cosy fireplace, and a huge patio with BBQ facilities. We also offer meals at Rocks & Roses, including picnics and refreshing cocktails.
Overlooking the gardens and pastures, the farmhouse hosts our original first three guest rooms. All the rooms have private entrances, bathrooms, coffee stations and BBQ facilities.
While not all of these guest rooms are self-catering, we are more than happy to provide basic kitchenware upon request. And for those who prefer to leave the cooking to us, we offer meals at Rocks & Roses, including picnics and refreshing cocktails.
SinknBlink is the newest and most charming addition to Rocks and Roses Farmstay — a truly unique guesthouse built around beautifully restored caravan rooms, all under one roof.
